Four Nations
The Rugby League Four Nations series is a rugby league football tournament it represents the top three nations in the sport: Australia, England and New Zealand.The fourth position in the tournament has gone to a different country each year: France accepted in the inaugural tournament, Papua New Guinea played in 2010 and in 2011 Wales entered Four Nations. The tournament was first contested in 2009 and replaced the Tri-Nations tournament that previously involved Australia, New Zealand and Great Britain. There will be noFour Nations in 2012 to allow teams to prepare for the 2013 Rugby League World Cup.
